Ours is a story of enlightened patriarch and his family, of people who believed in a chance of an extraordinary area and in the attitude to the good life to the hospitality of its people. Our hotel was built in 1957 by Commendatore Antonio Savarese and designed by Swiss Schnebli.
Surrounded by vineyards and boasting a fantastic view across the bay to Mount Vesuvius, Hotel Le Axidie provides a mix of attractive guest rooms.
The hotel is set in Vico Equense, 10 km from Sorrento; which you can easily reach by the Circumvesuviana train along the coast. This train also connects you to Naples and the archaeological site of Pompei, and a free transfer service to the centre of Vico Equense and its train station is available on request.
Guests of Le Axidie have free access to the Beach Club (dedicated Hotel Guests Area) and a sea-water pool, tennis court, and football pitch. You can also enjoy the Wellness Area (adults only) which includes a sauna and hot tub, and offers a range of beauty treatments.
The restaurant features indoor and outdoor dining areas and serves a delicious mix of local and international cuisine. Each guest room and apartment is air conditioned and most have a beautiful sea view.
Boat transfers to Capri are located at the harbour next to the hotel.
